Pride in Thanet Tourism Awards
Who made your visit special today?

Running annually since 2005, the Pride in Thanet Tourism Awards seek to find those working within the local tourism, leisure and hospitality industry who ‘go the extra mile’ to ensure their customers receive a warm welcome and excellent customer service.

Thanet District Council is proud to have been able to run the award for the last 11 years. It is only right to celebrate and thank good customer service. Good customer service will grow business and attract repeat visitors.

The awards are open to anyone who works within the tourism and hospitality industry in Thanet. This includes employees and volunteers within hotels, guest houses, bars, train stations, restaurants, tourist attractions etc. The awards are for people, not businesses, but by employees being nominated, businesses do benefit from the associated exposure

Businesses can take part through displaying posters and nomination card in prominent positions at their venue and encouraging their customers to complete a card or go online to www.visitthanet.co.uk/awards Supplies of cards and postcards can be obtained by contacting prideinthanet@thanet.gov.uk or 01843 577577
