Destination Management Plan 2014
Working together - delivering the Destination Management Plan

The Thanet Tourism Team and Tourism Works has worked with 67 representatives from the private and public sectors and the DMP Steering Group to oversee delivery of the Thanet Destination Management Plan.

There are three project action groups focusing on the key themes of the DMP – Beach Management and Development, Coastal Regeneration, and Telling Our Stories. Sub-groups are supporting the project action groups to undertake specific tasks such as developing the Shared Story toolkit and identifying priority sites for tourism businesses.
